William R. Haas has been in the life insurance business since 1966. In the spring of 1968, Bill, along with his father Edward, formed HaasHaas & Associates to focus on mid to large-size employers with an emphasis on employee benefits and business continuation plans. The agency soon began to offer property and casualty insurance as a value-added benefit to their existing clients, which evolved to the Haas agency becoming a full-service insurance agency, offering a wide array of financial services and products.

Today, HaasHaas & Associates represents companies such as The Hartford, The Travelers, Kemper, Progressive, Safeco and Guard Insurance (a Berkshire Hathaway Company) as well as many life insurance carriers including Columbus Life, New York Life, Lafeyette Life, Lincoln National, Jackson National, and other fine carriers. With its Haas Healthcare Solutions division, the company is continuing its association with the finest firms in the industry by associating with CNA, all of which are AM Best A+ rated companies, to provide customized risk management coverage.

Helping others solve their problems and financial needs still continue to be the primary focus and philosophy of the agency, as is providing quality service with integrity and dignity to clients and policyholders, whether serving an individual family needs or a business of any size.

Bill received his Life Underwriting Training Council Fellow (LUTCF) designation, which requires the successful completion of 300 designation credits and one ethics course, as well as a membership in good standing with NAIFA. , as well as a life and qualifying member of the Million Dollar Roundtable (MDRT). Bill is involved with many organizations and charities. He primarily focuses his charitable energy on the benefit of children and education. Bill is a master mason with the Forest City Lodge, and his hobbies include photography, boating, and fishing.
